In this work is solved an important scientific - technical problem associated with obtaining of high-quality low-carbon steel wire with the help of an energy-efficient method of severe plastic deformation (SPD). Combining SPD method and cold-drawn, the steel wire yielded a 20% higher strength values and a significant resource of plasticity. This is allowed to exclude intermediate annealing from a technological link on the drawing stage. Also it is developed a framework and methodology for the analysis of structural properties using electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD). Work is done at a high international level, the results are presented at international conferences, in particular in France, Germany and Russia. The economic effect of the introduction in the steel and metal ware factories will reach 90 000 000 UAH at 1 million tone of the final product.

Scientific results are displayed in the 1 monograph, 16th abstracts of conferences and 11th articles: among them scientific journal Metals (Moscow, impact factor 0.68), Emerging Materials Research (London, impact factor 0.9), Deformation and Fracture of Materials (Moscow, impact factor 0.4) Advanced Engineering Materials (impact factor 1.67), as well as report on scientific research (Grant NAS of Ukraine for young scientists).
