A series of research papers consists of 22 books and 139 scientific articles published during the years 1992-2012, and aims to study the resource base of Ukraine in terms of man-made environmental changes and the development of mechanisms of state regulation in the natural resource sector.
The present series of works aimed at introducing new principles and mechanisms of regulation of natural resources, combined with organizational and regulatory support to business practices, fiscal policy, government policy documents and laws of Ukraine.
The analysis of the state of natural resources of Ukraine and limitations of their use is conducted. Questions, related to development of raw material industry, its influence on the land resources, aquatic objects and quality of natural environment, are considered. The processes of exhaustion of minerals and influence of its use and processing on the ecological state of territories are studied. Bases of the space monitoring of lands and aquatic objects are created and. A contribution in to the construction of the system of ecological safety in the state has brought. Arguments about the necessity of gradual transition of country on a not raw material innovative economics with high-tech industries of production and displacement of accents in the natural resources use from minerals to land resources are advanced. The effective result of the given works cycle is integration in economic practice, fiscal policy, government policy documents and laws of Ukraine of new principles and mechanisms of regulation of natural resources, combined with organizational and economic support.
The results of researches are expounded in 161 publications, including 22 monographs and 139 articles, in 12 articles of the refer journals, plugged in international scientific bases. 3 copyright certificates have been got. After this subjects at consultative support and under the direction of authors defended 19 doctoral, 57 PhD theses.
