Substantiation of constructions and working parameters of screw conveyor of grain

Scientific work is devoted to the rise of efficiency of spiral conveyers for transporting corn materials with a reduction of their injuring due to the even increase of spacebetween coils in direction of motion of corn material and modernization of coats, changing the form of their transversal cuttings and giving them the possibility of circulating motion, and also by the synthesis of spiral conveyers on the basis of minimization of energy consumption during transporting corn materials.

Power parameters on the basis of equations of material particles motion at spiral high-speed and low-speed conveyers with augers with the gradually growing steps of coils are explored. The dynamic model of spiral conveyer for corn materials is presented. A new construction of spiral conveyer with a circulating cylinder coat is offered. Minimum frequency of rotation of coat for the start of conveyer after his forced stop is defined.

Experimental equipment on the basis of spiral conveyers are designed and made. The results of experimental researches of productivity, power and specific energy consumption of spiral conveyers, and corn damage are presented. The expected economic effect is calculated.

 

Scientific results are reflected in 16 articles. Novelty and competitiveness of technical solutions are protected by 12 patents.
