The purpose of the work is to obtain new results in the form of scientific conclusions about the essence of the motivation of the procedural decisions of the investigator and its significance, the solution of theoretical and practical issues related to the search for an optimal normative model for securing requirements to motivate procedural decisions of the investigator.

The author, on the basis of theoretical and practical research, determined the principles of motivating procedural decisions of the investigator.

The scientific basis of the optimal normative model of securing the requirements to motivate procedural decisions of the investigator has been created.

The basic conceptual foundations of the system-forming elements of the motivation of procedural decisions of the investigator have been formed.

It has been proposed to make changes and additions to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine in the part of normative regulation of requirements to motivate procedural decisions of the investigator.

A scientific analysis of the provisions of the legislation and law enforcement practice concerning the motivation of the investigator's procedural decisions has been carried out.

Comparison with world analogues. The monograph is the first qualifying scientific work in Ukraine devoted to the complex development of the problem of motivating procedural decisions of the investigator.

Implemented. The main provisions and conclusions of the work were reported by the author and were made public at 9 scientific, scientific and practical conferences and seminars. The proposals on amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, prepared on the basis of the monographic research, have been brought to the attention of people's deputies of Ukraine for possible consideration in legislative activity.The monograph of MAROCHKIN O.I.«Motivation of procedural decisions of the investogator» has been implemented in the educational and scientific process of the departments of the criminal process and the criminal process and operational search activity of the Yaroslav MudryiNational Law University.

Economic effect of implementation. The implementation of the research results will contribute to the fulfillment of the criminal proceedings in terms of ensuring a prompt, complete and impartial investigation, and therefore the saving of the state budget funds spent on the functioning of the pre-trial investigation bodies.
