The authors developed new metal-ceramic materials for armor-piercing cores with enhanced penetration capability, as well as a range of high-temperature, structurally-reinforced ceramic materials for components of spacecraft engines.
Original innovative technologies were developed and implemented to increase the effectiveness of munition warheads through the use of pyrophoric dispersed materials and thermite mixtures; multifunctional electric-arc coatings; and coatings produced by cold gas-dynamic spraying for restoration and wear protection of parts.
Approximately 150 parts for small arms, special devices, and munitions manufactured using powder-injection molding technology have been introduced into production.
The results have been applied in a number of special-purpose products (munitions for precision weapons, air-defense systems, missile technology, armored vehicles, etc.).
The results have been implemented in the serial production of ammunition components at several enterprises in Ukraine.
Number of publications: 4 collective monographs, 205 articles in journals included in category "A" (including 169 in foreign journals) and 59 articles in journals included in category "B". The total number of references to the authors' publications/h-index on the work according to the databases is respectively: Web of Science 1798/25, Scopus 2086/26, Google Scholar 2810/30. 5 patents for invention of Ukraine, 31 utility model patents have been obtained.
