The scientific foundations of a new, integrated approach to the study of thermophysical processes and properties of new accumulating materials having a different structure, namely, fillers in the form of metal nanoparticles, including optical methods, have been developed. In the world and domestic science it was first used to study these processes during melting/crystallization of the volume of heat-accumulating material of organic origin with fillers in the form of metal nanoparticles around several cylindrical heat sources with a smooth surface. The influence of the dimensions and geometry of the location of the heat exchange surface in the volume of the material on the dynamics and direction of the propagation of convective heat fluxes is determined. Regularities of free convection heat transfer during phase transformations of accumulating material around several cylindrical sources of heat with a smooth surface are investigated and their effect on the intensity of heat and mass transfer processes at different instants of time is estimated. The value of the limiting radius of propagation of heat in the volume of the accumulating material is obtained at which the process of accumulation of heat per unit mass per unit time is maximum. The effect of multiple cyclic heating and cooling on the structure and morphology of phase-transfer accumulating materials was determined by Raman spectroscopy.
The results of a comprehensive study of thermophysical processes made it possible to scientifically justify the expediency and directions of optimization of the technology for manufacturing highly efficient accumulation apparatus based on phase-transition organic compounds and improving the efficiency of energy supply systems for consumers with heat accumulators in general. This is confirmed by several acts of implementation development, in particular, at the leading enterprise for the production of power equipment of LLC «Plant of Power Equipment «DAN».
