This study reflects the long-term work of scientists from leading scientific and medical centers of Ukraine, which results during a long period of time were worthy of presentation at various international European and world medical forums. The authors used modern fundamental and high-tech methods of research and treatment, introduced a multidisciplinary approach to the management of patients with cardiovascular pathology, and results have a scientific novelty not only for our country, but also for international science, as evidenced by citations in foreign publications, and involvement of authors in the creation of European guidelines for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
Scientific and practical significance of the results of the study. In the course of this cycle of scientific studies, on the basis of a comprehensive study, specific recommendations for the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases have been developed, features of prevention, individual prognosing, the choice of a method of treatment and follow up in order to prevent cardio-cerebral complications, fatal arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
Data obtained during the implementation of presented cycle of studies were used for the development of the project "Programme for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in Ukraine", the creation of which is regulated by paragraph 3 of the joint order of the Ministry of Health and NAMS of Ukraine № 711/61 dated July 15, 2016, and the authors are co-developers of the Guidelines and unified clinical protocols for primary, secondary (specialized) and tertiary (highly specialized) medical care, approved by orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, introduced into clinical practice in leading institutions of the country.
