The workaddressed a number of important public health problems in Ukraine to create innovative products with neurotropic (Phenazepam, Gidazepam, Levana) and immune stimulating (Amixin) properties.Drugs areused in general medical practice and as a means of medical care for power structuresand civil defenses. The fundamental chemical, pharmaceutical, biological and clinical investigations of compounds have been carried out in accordance with the national and international standards and the medicines have been registered on the base of the complete file of documents concerning their quality, safety and efficiency (complete registration information).New approachesof public-private partnership (NAS and SLC "InterChem), have been used where in addition to the business interests of an incentive for innovation is their focus on the needs of society and the development of science.
The drugs have been put into circulation under their own trade names the rights for using of which in the production (manufacture), sale and application are protected by the legislation of Ukraine regarding the protection of the intellectual property. Taking into consideration the practical recommendations (standards) which have been harmonized and approved on the international and national levels such drugs as Phenazepam, Gidazepam, Amixin, are included into the State Official List of Drugs.Substances andmedicines are registered outside Ukraine and exported to Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Switzerland.
The results of investigations are stated in 25 monographs, 1130 scientific reviews and articles, 53 of which were published in the English language. General number of citations of the authors publications is of 1310 (according to the Scopus database), h-index = 19. As a result of the research carried out, 19 patents and 16 copyright certificates were issued. In this subject area 17 doctoral theses and 48 candidate’s dissertations were defended.
