In a series of papers presents the results of our ecological-geochemical studies of the environment (natural waters, sediments, surface sediments, algae, fungi) for the period 2007-2014 years.
The objective was to make a prediction of the environmental risks of the territory of Ukraine by conducting ecological-geochemical studies of environmental objects.
Presents a comprehensive ecological-geochemical assessment of environmental objects territories with varying degrees of anthropogenic load. Identified trends contamination of geosystems and their state forecast for litho-, hydro-, biogeochemical parameters.
Created the foundations of an integral approach to the study of ecological-geochemical conditions of the territories with different degree of anthropogenic pollution.
Obtained some fundamental results on the determination in modes of occurrence and mobility of chemical elements in the zone influence of the enterprises of various industries.
Proposed new approaches to ecological-geochemical assessment of the zone influence of anthropogenic pollution. The authors carried out the registration of new non-traditional tasks on the basis thermodynamic analysis and mathematical modeling to determine the basic deportment of chemical elements in soils and natural waters, allows us to predict the possibility of forming complex compounds with heavy metals in the conditions of technogenic contamination when changing physico-chemical conditions of the environment. The results of the cycle are important for institutions of geological, environmental profile, educational institutions, and companies engaged in the rehabilitation of anthropogenic activities on the contaminated territories. Scientific basis and methodology for determining the areas of environmental risk on the state of environmental objects using a proprietary methodology for determining concentrations of chemical elements by ICP-MS with an induction coupled plasma.
Implemented by the Institute of environmental Geochemistry of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the improvement the system of ecological safety in the city of Dneprodzerzhinsk (act implementation on 19.01.2012) and the Institute of Microbiology and Virology. D. K. Zabolotny implemented method Analytical sample preparation scheme of rocks and minerals and the determination of trace elements by the method of mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS) (act implementation on 29.10.2013).
Developed a biologically active compound with a high content of selenium, which improves biogeochemical indicators of plants, and can be used for agriculture (patent for invention № 105146 and the patent for useful model № 87155 "Method of obtaining biologically active compounds").
Publication. A series of scientific works consists of 3 monographs and 43 articles in scientific journals, 51 materials and abstracts published during the 2007-2014 period. Total number of peer-reviewed publications - 10.
