High tactical and technical characteristics of domestic lightly armored vehicles were ensured during design and modernization by creating, implementing methods and conducting research on the dynamic characteristics and stress-strain state of their hulls under increased loads and selecting on this basis hull reinforcement schemes and rational design parameters, and engines, which together provide an acceptable level of strength, rigidity, accuracy of fire and protection and mobility of hull elements. In parallel with increasing strength and accuracy of fire, protection from kinetic ammunition and fragments was also ensured. The results of the work were implemented in design, research and manufacture of lightly armored vehicles armored hulls at enterprises of armored tank-building industry in Ukraine. The economic effect of using this work results is currently about 2.5 million UAH.

Number of publications: 5 monographs, 29 articles (3 in English- language journals with an impact factor), 31 report abstracts.
