An information-analytical and legal support system (IALS) was developed, substantiated, tested and implemented, synthesised on the basis of the results of the use of operational and technical means and information-analytical support of the State Border Guard Service, which contributes to the intensification of countering intelligence and subversive activities, preventing terrorism, illegal armed groups, etc., and obtaining complete and reliable warning information about threats in the border area.

The methodology used in the SIAPS for identifying crimes and analyzing threats to border security by operational units has made it possible to increase the validity of legal proposals to counter criminal activity and to select priorities for the development of law enforcement tools in the fight against crime in the channels of its activities in the field of border security. The SIAPS defines a system of measures for detecting criminal offences in the border area using the methodology developed in this work for implementing and using the results of the OIA.
