Aseriesconsistsof36scientificpapersand11thesesofpresentationsatUkrainianandinternationalconferencespublishedduring2009-2013 yearsanddealtwithestablishingthetheoryandinvestigating the properties of open nanostructures in outer fields in order to use them further optimizing the functional characteristics of nanodevices.

The quantum mechanical theory of electron quasi-stationary states and dynamic conductivity of open multi-shell semiconductor nanostructures is established taking into account the interaction between electrons, electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields.

Themainpropertiesof  electronquasi-stationarystatesinresonanttunnelingstructuredrivenbyouter stable and high frequency fields are established together with the conditions of electron-photon states arises due to the electromagnetic field with characteristics depending on field parameters. Therevealednewphenomenonhastheperspectiveofpracticalutilizationbecauseitallows ensuretheoperationofnanodeviceswithprognosticated characteristics in strong high frequency fiends not at the electron states which are not so effective but at the quantum transitions between electron-photon states.

Theprincipallynewapproachtostudythemagnitudesofresonanceenergiesandresonancewidthsofelectronquasi-stationarystatesusingtheexperimentally measured spectral parameters of dynamic conductivity of resonant tunneling nanostructure is proposed.

Besidesthemanifestedfundamentallyimportantpropertiesofelectronstatesandtunnelingtransportofelectronsthroughtheopenmulti-shellnanosystemsinouterfields, theresultsoftheseriesofpapersarepracticallyimportantbecausethey open the possibility to define the configurations of quantum cascade lasers and detectors at which the functional characteristics of these nanodevices become definitely optimal.
