Presented Oleksandr Petrovych RADKEVYCH – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Chief Researcher at the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation of General Secondary Education Quality, Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
The work titled “EdTech Tools for Learning and Assessment” presents a comprehensive study dedicated to the integration of educational technologies into the learning process. The scientific novelty of the research lies in several significant aspects.
For the first time, a systematization and classification of a wide range of EdTech tools – including Learning Management Systems (LMS), adaptive learning technologies, automated assessment tools, and interactive solutions such as gamification and virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies – has been conducted from the perspective of their role in transforming the educational process. This approach represents an innovative contribution to the Ukrainian scientific landscape.
Methodological approaches and principles for implementing EdTech tools have been refined through the development of an adapted strategy that takes into account the needs of educators and learners, as well as ethical considerations, such as data privacy, and technical requirements, including compatibility with existing infrastructure. These aspects had previously received insufficient attention in Ukraine.
The study further advances the understanding of the evolution of EdTech tools – from traditional platforms to modern innovative solutions leveraging artificial intelligence and big data – thereby expanding the theoretical boundaries of pedagogical science and opening prospects for the personalization and automation of learning and assessment.
