The authors developed a complex of legal, organizational-tactical, technical-criminological and special means of combating crime as a factor in ensuring the national security of Ukraine.
Legal norms have been developed, and innovative instruments for combating crime have been created and introduced into law enforcement practice, necessary for more effective ensuring the national security of Ukraine.
The sequence of building a democratic state based on the rule of law, modern achievements in the field of police equipment and information and telecommunications technologies have been revealed, and the orientation towards strict observance of the constitutional rights of the individual in the diverse activities of law enforcement agencies has been supported.
Conceptual principles of criminal-legal qualification of criminal offenses, methods of their investigation, technical-forensic and special means, criminal procedural procedures and expert-forensic methods aimed at increasing the effectiveness of detection, investigation and prevention of criminal offenses in modern conditions have been developed.
The practical significance of the work lies in the development and implementation of the latest means of combating criminal offenses in the activities of law enforcement agencies, forensic institutions and courts, which allowed improving legislative support and increasing the efficiency of the activities of these institutions.
Number of publications: 10 individual monographs, 12 collective monographs; 5 textbooks, 18 tutorials; 24 scientific articles are published in journals included, included in category «А», 56 scientific articles are published in journals, included in category «B». The work received 2 patents of Ukraine for inventions, 20 patents for utility models, industrial designs and 39 certificates of copyright registration for official works.
