The purpose of the work is to develop scientific bases, technologies, technical means, legal and institutional as well as normative and methodological principles of sustainable agricultural production on reclaimed lands under the conditions of progressive deterioration of natural water supply due to climate change.

The scientific significanceof the work is to create the theoretical foundations of economically efficient and ecologically balanced technologies and technical means for land reclamation and effective use of reclaimed lands by forming low-carbon energy-generating agro-ecosystems.

Implementation of developments. The results of the conducted researches and scientific developments became the basis for creating legislative, normative-legal, normative-methodological and technical and technological provision of sustainable development of land reclamation in Ukraine, as the basis of the transformation of Ukraine into a competitive food producer in a changing climate.

The research results are used in the design of new and reconstruction of existing reclamation works, in the production of sprinklers and drip irrigation facilities, in the cultivation of agricultural crops on reclaimed lands, and the implementation of ecological and reclamation monitoring of reclaimed lands.

In general, the results of work and the developments on rational use and protection of reclaimed land are legal and institutional, scientific and methodological and technical and technological basis for ensuring the operation of irrigation systems and irrigation supply on the area of about 500 thousand hectares as well as water regulation on the area of about 300 thousand hectares annually. On the mentioned lands, irrespective of weather conditions, crop production gives about 20 billion hryvnias annually.

Technical and economic indicatorsof the developments correspond to the best foreign analogues. The economic effect of implementing GIS technologies in irrigation was 44 million hryvnias, drip irrigation technologies - over 100 million hryvnias, crop cultivation technologies applied on reclaimed lands - more than 5 billion hryvnias.
