Work number - M 30 AWARDED

Presented Molecular Biology and Genetics of NAS of Ukraine

Authors:
Moshynets Olena Volodymyrivna

The present work by Moshynets O.V. comprises a large number of new experimental data on the biology of bacterial biofilms in both fundamental and applied aspects. In particular, the role of oxygen gradients and cellulose production were studied in the context of biofilm formation by the gram-negative bacteria. Moreover, the evolutionary aspects of cellulose production by bacteria were described, as well as a role of quorum sensing in biofilm formation and plant-microbial interactions, and relevant experimental data were presented. The biology of the plant-microbial interaction in the phytosphere of rapeseed and bamboo plants was studied.
