Brief work description and scientific novelty

Resource saving and cost effective process technology of hydrated fermented homogeneous full energy feed suspensions was newly developed, established and implanted. Also a multifunctional fodder processing hydromill – mixer for homogeneous feed suspensions production (model AKGSM) was newly implemented, certified and experimentally probed.

Aim of the work

Development and realization of a new fermented homogeneous feed suspensions production technology, equipment for its production, research of breeding efficiency and efficiency of feeding the animals with fermented fodders.

Theoretical and practical foundation:

·         With the all theoretical and practical researches cost effectiveness and expedience of fermented homogeneous feed suspensions for increasing pigs growing indications was proved.

The research had been conducted and a new technology for homogeneous feed suspensions production was developed. Production tests of the feeding suspensions with using of multifunctional fodder processing hydromill – mixer for homogeneous feed suspensions production (model AKGSM) were also implemented.

·         Optimal particle sizes of cereal components in thehomogeneous feed suspensions were substantiated.

·         According to scientific and practical experiments - fodder fermentation and homogenization comparing to its grinding and moistening increases level of some nutritional components; it’s digesting: organic and non-organic substances, protein, fat, fiber, nitrogen, phosphorous that decreased the dung amount for 44% among pigs, and for 25% among calves and cattle.

·         As the result of feeding figs withfermented homogeneous feed suspensions (comparing to  the dry or hydrated ) average daily weight increment increased for 29,8% and fodder consumption decreased for 18,2%.

·         The tendency of enhancing pork’s indices due to its exterior, smell, taste and succulence was revealed.

·         It is proved and scientifically substantiated that fermented homogeneous feed suspensions have antiviral and antibacterial characteristics.

·         Economic benefit due to feeding technology with fermented homogeneous feed suspensions in Ukraine is 1,621725 billions of hryvnas, provided cost reduction up to 40% with profit margin 250-300%.
