Regional industrial policy in the strategy of ensuring the economic security of Ukraine

The study substantiates the state strategy of regional industrial policy in terms of ensuring the stabilization of socio-economic development of territories, improving the level of economic security and taking into account the national interests of Ukraine.

The vectors of industrial policy development at the present stage of development of the Ukrainian economy have been generalized and the concept of activation of renewal of industrial processes in regional industrial complexes of Donbass has been developed. The directions of state regulation and implementation of industrial policy mechanisms are considered, taking into account the national interests of Ukraine and the strategy of reviving the economic and industrial potentials of the regions.

Recommendations on the management of industrial complexes of Ukraine and its individual regions have been developed. The basic directions of intensification of industrial policy in the aspect of proactive industrial revival and development of regional industrial complexes and increase of the level of economic security and defense capability of Ukraine as a whole are offered.

The results of the work can be used in the practical activity of public authorities, in particular, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Territories administrations in developing programs and strategies for socio-economic and industrial development of Ukrainian regions.

Number of publications: 82, incl. 5 collective monographs, 35 articles in professional journals, 42 publications in conference materials (including 3 publications in foreign editions), 5 copyright certificates.
